Vogue Executive Fashion Editor Phyllis Posnick

Who wouldn’t want to be behind the scenes at some of Vogue’s most legendary photoshoots? Well, now here’s your chance. For a sneak peak backstage at least.

Phillys Posnick, Vogue’s Executive Fashion Editor shares some of her favorite moments and and photographs from her life at Vogue in her new book “Stoppers”. Having worked with photographic legends such Anton Corbijn, Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Klein, Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, Irving Penn, Mario Testino, Tim Walker, and Bruce Weber, Posnick has had her finger on masterpieces we will never forget.

Posnick is best known for creating photo editorials to illustrate Vogue’s Beauty features, as well as portraits of celebrated personalities. In her book she invites the reader to get a glimpse of the sometimes complex production process and close collaboration between creative minds – and what it takes to make the extraordinary editorial that makes the readers stop and glance for more than a split second.

The book includes a foreword by Anna Wintour and is punctuated with Posnick’s personal memories and irreverence.
